Past PerformanceEngineering Support for ATOSEHS has provided systems engineering support services for the Airborne Tactical Observation and Surveillance (ATOS). These services transform validated operational needs into thoroughly define system configurations through a documented process of requirements definition, functional analysis, synthesis, fabrication, optimization, design, test and evaluation. EHS and Honeywell were required to develop a system of performance requirements and analyze advanced technologies to met system performance requirements. EHS was also asked to provide systems integration and hardware modification support services to integrate the ATOS system components including the Reader Control Unit (RCU), Radio Frequency Extender (RFE’s), Preprocessor, antennas, Hand Held Readers (HHR’s), and associated software prior to commencement of Military Utility Assessments. |
