Outreach at NAS Patuxent River, MD

EHS Communication Specialists at NAS Patuxent River, MD., recently worked with realtors in the Southern Maryland region to implement a noise zone pamphlet to be handed out to prospective and existing buyers or renters in the area. Two full-color glossy pamphlets were created with maps of the NAS Patuxent River airfields and overlapping noise zones to let area residents know they will be living near a military facility and be aware of the levels of noise and types of operations they should expect to hear and see.

EHS Communications Specialists also recently began working to implement a noise clause that would be added to any real estate documents for residential and business real estate transactions. NAS Patuxent River also teamed with other surrounding military facilities to be included in the clause.
